INGREDIENTS
6 cups glutinous (malagkit) rice
2 1/2 cups coconut cream
1 medium size ginger (thoroughly washed, pounded)
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. white sugar
4 tbsp. grated young coconut (garnish)
2 1/2 cups coconut cream
1 medium size ginger (thoroughly washed, pounded)
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. white sugar
4 tbsp. grated young coconut (garnish)
PROCEDURE
Wash the glutinous rice thoroughly.Place in a thick saucepan or casserole.
Simmer with coconut milk, ginger and salt.
Arrange in a platter.
Sprinkle with sugar.
You may garnish it with grated young coconut.
