Enchanted Kingdom, the country’s first and only world-class theme park, will thrill its park goers this August 2-3 and August 9-10 with its first annual SPEEDWEEK@EK.

The whole family will surely enjoy the pure adrenaline rush and electrifying excitement of these fun-filled weekends, as Enchanted Kingdom hosts three national races; the 2008 San Mig Coffee National Underbone Series, 2008 Shell Super Karting Series and the2008 National Slalom Series.

motorists will enjoy the park for the whole month of June at an affordable entrance price of P150 for the Carousel Special or P350 for the Speedweek Special upon presentation of a valid driver’s license.

Now on its 4th year, the San Mig Coffee National Underbone Series will feature pro-riders competing in the 110 sports production, 125 and 150 open classes. Races in the 110 and 125 super stock and 125 sports production classes will likewise take place.

The 2008 Shell Super Karting Series on the other hand will have karters competing for the best time in this 8 leg event. It will feature races in the Formula SL Novice, Expert and Heavy classes, Cadet CC and ROK.

Sponsored by Shell Helix, Stoplight TV, Manila Bulletin, Sports Digest, Wave 89.1, the 2008 National Slalom Series organized by Race Motorsports Club will feature drivers maneuvering around the racetrack for the fastest time. Burning rubber and skid marks will surely leave park goers wanting for more.

Guaranteed to fill everyone’s need for speed, SPEEDWEEK will also feature road safety tutorials by Honda, the v7 car perfume grand launch of Prescripto organized by Crux Events Production, car and motorbike exhibits, product samplings and many more. Park goers will likewise be treated to the sounds of Up Dharma Down, Powerhouse band, and Amber Davis, and more surprises from Pepsi, Gatorade, Great Image and Solar Sports.
